Rural Gas Supply Co. has hauled propane out of Azle since 1946, and Newark is on our route.

Newark is a two-county town — part Tarrant, part Wise — about sixteen miles north of our yard in Azle by FM 718. It is farm and ranch country most of the way there.
We fill tanks at houses, at barns and at shops. We set new tanks, and we service the ones we set. Propane out here does more than heat a house — shop heaters, stock tank heaters, water heaters, a standby generator that keeps running when the power quits.
Which is worth remembering in a bad week. If a generator runs off the same tank as the furnace, both of them are drawing on the same gallons at exactly the time you need them most. That is one more reason to fill before the weather instead of during it, and one more reason to ask about the tank size if the one in the yard is small for the work it does.

Bottles get filled at the counter — 140 W Main St in Azle. Summer hours (March 1 through September 30): Monday through Friday, 8 to 4. Closed Saturday. Winter hours (October 1 through February 28): Monday through Friday, 8 to 5. Saturday, 8 to 1. Bring the bottle in and we will fill it while you wait.
