Rural Gas Supply Co. has hauled propane out of Azle since 1946. Eighty years, one town, one trade.
What eighty years actually buys you
It does not buy a better gallon of propane. Propane is propane.
What it buys is the part nobody puts in a brochure. Knowing which roads flood. Knowing which driveways a bobtail cannot turn around in. Knowing the house because we set the tank behind it, and knowing the tank because we have been filling it since before the current owner bought the place. Eighty years of that is a lot of small knowledge about a small piece of Texas, and it is most of what we are actually selling.
The counter
We are not a call center in another state. There is a counter at 140 W Main St, Azle, TX 76020, and somebody is behind it.
Summer hours (March 1 through September 30): Monday through Friday, 8 to 4. Closed Saturday.
Winter hours (October 1 through February 28): Monday through Friday, 8 to 5. Saturday, 8 to 1.
Bring your bottle and we will fill it while you wait. Pay a bill. Ask about a tank without an appointment. Get a quote started.

Colton, and the flood
A flood washed a customer’s propane tank away. They came out and saved it. The customer wrote, “Thanks Colton!”
We are not going to dress that up. It is not a service we offer. It was one man on one bad day, for a customer he knew by name. Nobody here is asked to do that, and nobody reading this should try it.
The part that matters to you is short. If high water moves your tank — an inch or a hundred yards — stay away from it. The lines under it may be pulled or broken. Get clear, call 911, then call us at (817) 444-4613. Moving a tank is our work and nobody else’s.
